The Dangermen started in 2001, and consist of Dominic "Zoltane" Hunt (lead vocals), Rory Johansen (bass), Sean "Dr. Rock" Tracey (guitar), Ben Basile (guitar) and Liam "Larmo" Cusack (drums).

They released their debut single "Mechanical Girl" on Wild Eagle Records in 2002, and became very popular on the Brisbane punk/garage rock scene in the ensuing years.

Sean eventually founded the band's own label Swashbuckling Hobo Records in 2008, and the band have since become parents which caused their live work to diminish although they are still together and started performing more regularly in the last year.

This year, one of their recent songs "Wrong Train Home" got considerable airplay on an European radio station.
